Laurel is our lead tech geek. Always up for a new challenge, she stays on top of best practices for coding and she dreams about PHP, CSS, JS, and HTML. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Laurel built a content management system for the Air Force before the days of CMS being the norm. Since being in business for herself, she has cultivated relationships with many designers and developers and can always find the right person for the right job.
Nick strives to see beyond individual projects and into each client’s overall brand vision in everything he designs, from a simple business card to a content-rich website. An alumnus of the NC State University graphic design program, Nick brings a refreshing perspective to every project great or small.

Wolf is an English major turned computer nerd. Though his career began in book publishing in the mid-1990s, he’s discovered that building websites isn’t much different than creating books. Just as a good book benefits from great writing and an eye-catching cover, a successful site needs strong copy and a pleasing design. Wolf specializes in coding custom WordPress themes and plugins using HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP but feels equally at home writing an attention-grabbing headline or an effective about us page. What matters is that he’s still helping people share their stories.
Marisa’s 15 years of design experience earn her the ‘senior’ part of her title. Over the course of her design life, she has developed an affinity for diverse projects ranging from traditional print media to UX/UI design and implementation. No matter the project, Marisa strives to keep the user in mind and stands by the timeless principle that design without intention is simply decoration. Having co-founded her own small agency, Marisa is a natural fit with a small but growing Status Forward team.
