There’s a new Wolf of Wall Street. (12 A Wall St. that is…)
After two years of steady growth and collectively wearing as many hats as possible, we’re happy to announce the addition of a new full-time web developer, Wolf Hoelscher.
An English major turned coder, Wolf brings proficiencies in both programming and written language to our nimble team. Wolf’s passion for storytelling shines through in his work, and he’s a natural fit with the brand-first approach Status Forward takes with web and graphic design.
In Wolf’s words:
“When I discovered WordPress, it lit a spark in me. I’ve always been a computer nerd, but now — here was this open-source software that let anyone become their own publisher. Not only could I harness this power for myself, I could help other companies share their stories online, whether that was through words, beautiful portfolio images, or an original custom design.”
Having witnessed firsthand the struggles of the publishing industry, Wolf’s perspective on digital communications is one of refreshing optimism.
“To me, website design and online marketing are not so different from making books. Just as a good book requires great writing and an eye-catching cover, a successful site benefits from strong copy and a pleasing design. Good books are hard to put down. Good websites are difficult to leave.”
When Wolf isn’t hard at work building compelling, effective websites, he enjoys kicking back with a great novel in one hand and a craft beer in the other. Wolf also loves spending time with his wife (Courtney), two children (Liam and Nayeli), and their dog Pork Chop.
