Dedicated to improving the lives of dogs suffering from mobility issues, Ortho Dog sells affordable canine orthopedic braces. When their brand and website became impediments to the company’s growth, they sought Status Forward’s help with a new approach.
The Ortho Dog team hoped to generate better sales, reduce product returns, and improve customer reviews. Their outdated website was creating customer confusion with its opaque user interface, and it was extremely difficult for the team to process orders and manage content.
After an extensive discovery process, Status Forward updated Ortho Dog’s brand materials and created a new website to emphasize the relief and joy the product bestows on dogs suffering from mobility issues.
The new e-commerce website, built in WordPress, includes a robust sizing calculator that directs customers to the correct product configurations while integrating the measurements seamlessly into the company’s order processing system. Status Forward worked with Lynne Harty Photography to document the products in use with photography and video for the website. Additionally, instructional rack cards and veterinarian hand-out cards were designed for customers and prospective customers. The fit guide, calculator, video guides, and infographics work to give the customer a better sense of the requirements needed to fit the brace to their furry friend.
Since the website launch, Status Forward has continued to optimize existing blog content, as well as write new blog posts, to improve search rankings, increase traffic from search results, improve brand awareness, and increase conversions.
With a streamlined user interface and search-optimized content, the new Ortho Dog website has increased sales, improved product transparency, better conversion rates, and optimized internal workflows. But most importantly, it has created more happy pups!
