French Broad Adventures is an outdoor tour operator in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Madison County, NC. With longstanding roots in whitewater rafting, the local owners decided to embark on new adventures and added zipline tours to their repertoire.

French Broad Rafting Expeditions was the original name of the business. With the addition of ziplines, the name changed to French Broad Rafting & Ziplines, and a second website was created. The two websites proved difficult to maintain, contributed to a lack of cohesion in the brand, and were confusing to potential customers.
Looking at long-term potential for continued growth, we worked with the family-owned business to define a new direction for their brand, and rebranded the company as French Broad Adventures. We consolidated their activities into a single website and incorporated online bookings for both activities. Armed with a new logo and visual brand identity, we created digital and print marketing materials. A deliberate approach to content was based on research and data analysis. Efforts in this initial stage allowed FBA to scale further when they added canyoneering and climbing to their activities in the years following the rebrand.
