Unique and Versatile Outdoor Blankets Enhance Outdoor Experiences
Tarpestry got off the ground selling their colorful outdoor tarp blankets at festivals. After the festival circuit took a dive due to COVID, Tarpestry turned to Status Forward to help secure, solidify, and expand its e-commerce presence.
After an initial site assessment, Status Forward discovered that slow site speeds and a significant number of outdated plugins were putting the site at risk of crashing. This seriously impacted the ability of the site to convert sales.
Tarpestry worked with Status Forward to redesign and rebuild the site as a secure e-commerce shop capable of earning more traffic from search and converting visitors to proud Tarpestry advocates.
A Tarpestry can be used for many things… a picnic blanket, a festival home base, a sunshade at the beach (just to name a few).
In order to avoid confusing site visitors with too much information, we helped Tarpestry develop a clear message using the StoryBrand framework, centered around their most famous (and hilarious) product benefit – dry butts!
In an effort to speak to all would-be Tarp purchasers, we developed optimized landing pages for key product uses, such as beach lounging, picnics, and camping.
Featured in many popular media outlets as the “hot thing to buy,” Tarpestry’s website pages were further expanded in response to the influx of traffic to the site. An added press section, the ability to insert products onto any page of the website, and sizing graphics have been added over time as we continue to support the Tarpestry website.
